So – after not posting on Freelance Unbound for nearly 10 years, I had a hack attack and thought I had lost the site completely. But no! Here’s an old backup on my laptop from 2011. Can I import it into a new WordPress installation? Yes!

So here it is – the site has none of its cool plugins, or functionality that I had painstakingly created over a few years and the design is looking a bit ropey (or is that just old-fashioned?). But the posts are here as a personal archive. Apart from the ones in 2012-2013. I’m working on that. (Copying and pasting from the Wayback Machine. Lots of clunk. Also, I realise, I’ve lost comments too – and people used to comment! Saying interesting things! Oh, social media, what hast thou wrought?)

And also using the WordPress block editor for the first time. Luckily I learned how to use Squarespace recently, so it’s not so horrendous.

No more media-based posting though. That’s all behind me now. Maybe I’ll do a Last Post about that. Or, you know, maybe not…
